Abstract The article discusses the effect of microwave radiation on seeds Scots pine ( Pinus sylvestris L.). aim research is to increase efficiency pre-sowing treatment with Ultra-high-frequency (UHF) radiation, allowing one standard planting material yield and reduce its cultivation time. specificity enzyme systems for stressing effects revealed, dynamics their change in period after irradiation ambiguous depends time irradiation. stimulating lethal doses are determined. results show seed causes reversible changes structure function enzymes. regularities model impact UHF as a factor viability established. When exposed stress factors (radiation), an activity enzymes observed, leading excitation or inhibition growth processes at first stages development. As result, arises – germination increases, seedlings height depressing decreases slows down.
